Joining the CC presupposes the adoption of membership WHO Collaborating Center for Health Workforce Policies and Planning, Instituto de Higiene e Medicina Tropical, IHMT, Universidade Nova de Lisboa (UNL) Lisbon, Portugal.
Members of the Collaborating Centre may be internal or external to the IHMT and belong to the Centre by inheritance or by invitation..
Membership does not imply any pecuniary remuneration for the Members, and it is the responsibility of the CC to provide the means to fulfil the operational plan. It is also up to the management of the Collaborating Centre to accept or reject proposals without justification being given.
